Valentine’s day is around the corner and what’s a better gift than something made with love?
This recipe was really easy and yummy! I will say you probably need a donut pan of some sort so that they actually look like donuts!
INGREDIENTS
DONUT BATTER
- ¼ cup Butter, softened
- ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 ⅔ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 ½ tsp. Baking Powder
- ¼ tsp. Baking Soda
- ½ tsp. Salt
COATING
- 2 tbs. Butter
- ⅓ cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 tsp. Cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
First, preheat your oven to 435 degrees F.
Grease your donut pan with either melted butter or just PAM.
With a stand mixer, beat your butter, oil, and sugars.
Mix in the vanilla and eggs until combined
Then add in the baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Then add your flour in parts and mix until combined.
Pipe or spoon your batter into the donut pans. Fill about halfway. They will rise quite a bit.
Bake for about 10 minutes. I took mine out right when they started to get some color.
Mix together the cinnamon and sugar while you wait for the donuts to bake.
Let them cool for a little and then with your melted butter spread it over the top and bottom.
Roll the buttered donut in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
Let's cool down and enjoy!

My donut pan has some cute little designs on them that make them that much better.

I mean your kidding they look so good right!🤤
I highly recommend doing the cinnamon sugar coating as opposed to icing! Much easier to prepare and store them.
I also recommend this pan! I got it from target and it makes them look that much cuter😜
