Sometimes all you need is a thick and creamy chocolate ganache. This is the perfect ganache to top a cake and add some richness to any dessert.
INGREDIENTS
8 oz. Dark Chocolate, chopped
1 tbs. Unsalted Butter, room temperature
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Salt, pinch
¾ cup Heavy Cream
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small heatproof bowl, combine chocolate, butter, vanilla and salt.
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low heat until you see the edges start to bubble. Remove from heat and pour over the bowl of chocolate mixture.

Let it cool before spreading onto your dessert. I used it to top a yule log for Christmas! I like that it's still really soft but it does set up and have some structure.
