MANGO SALSA


My absolute favorite recipe to make during summer. It is refreshing, easy, and perfect on the beach or by the pool.


It is my staple all summer long and my friends expect nothing less when we get together lol.

INGREDIENTS:

- 3 Tomatoes

- 2 Jalapeñoes

- ¼ cup Cilantro

- 1 Mango

- ¼ cup Red Onion

- 1-2 Limes

- Salt & Pepper, to taste


INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Dice tomatoes, mango, and red onion. Place in a large bowl.

  2. Depending on heat preferences, take the seeds out for less heat and dice the jalapeño. Add to bowl.

  3. Chop cilantro. Pour lime juice all over. Mix thoroughly and add salt and pepper.

  4. Taste and add whatever is needed. For example, for more heat, add more jalapeño or serrano pepper.

 

First things first, there are a couple of ways you can go about the jalapeno and the red onion, depending on your preference. For a more discreet flavor and less "bite", I recommend using a food processor or chopper to get them as small as possible. Personally, I enjoy the texture of dicing!

Depending on heat preferences, take the seeds out for less heat and dice the jalapeño. For more heat, keep the seeds or use a serrano pepper. Add to bowl.

Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!!
