PERFECT 3 INGREDIENT WHIPPED CREAM FROSTING

If you liked the Buttercream Frosting Recipe but wanted something lighter this is IT. This is my new absolute favorite frosting recipe I have made. It is light and fluffy but keeps its shape too! It is perfect for cupcakes and cake. It would also be amazing to mix in fruits or just food coloring. Best of all it doesn’t take more than five minutes and more than one bowl.

INGREDIENTS

- 1 quart Heavy Whipping Cream

- ⅓ cup Powdered Sugar

- 1 Box Jell-o Vanilla Pudding Mix

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Begin by whipping together the heavy whipping cream and powder Jell-O mix.

  2. Let it get fluffy and add in the powdered sugar. Mix until the consistency is thick and creamy.

  3. Enjoy!

Begin by adding all the vanilla Jell-O mix to the heavy whipping cream. You can use other flavors of Jell-O mix as well, this one gives it a classic vanilla flavor.

With an electric mixer beat the whipping cream and Jell-O mix until it gets firm. Once it gets firm, add in the powdered sugar and continue mixing.

The consistency should end up something like this.

Tip: Don’t put it in the fridge. If it gets cold it will become hard to spread. Once done decorating eat it immediately or put it in the fridge!

I used this frosting to decorate a strawberry-filled vanilla cake.

The frosting held up extremely well. I will say you should definitely put it in the fridge if you are not going to eat it right away. You can use this frosting with any flavor of cake and filling. You can also change the flavoring and coloring of the frosting. Get creative with your cake decorating for every different occasion you have. I love this frosting soooo much and I really don’t care for the frosting so that says a lot. Thanks for reading along with another 3 ingredient recipe. It is by far my favorite.
